Sinking into Desire: Mr. Zhao, I’m Your White Moonlight

[Maximum melodrama, high-stakes conflict, intense emotional push and pull, an ex’s long road to winning him back, a twist on the beloved ideal, and cutthroat business battles]

He wagered his entire fortune to claim that distant, aloof moon, the psychologist Kong Xuan.

Zhao Yan, a ruthless, unhinged business tycoon, has been obsessively in love for sixteen years. He imitates his rival, stops at nothing, and names his company “Xuan Yan” to proclaim his possessiveness to the world.

But when the moon finally puts a wedding ring on someone else’s finger, Zhao Yan’s world collapses completely.

Drunk in a bar, he casually picks out Zhou Ximeng, a stubborn-looking college student, and makes him a cheap substitute.

“Is love a calculation? No. Love is a reckless wager where you stake everything, even when you know you’ll lose it all.”

He uses Zhou Ximeng as a tool to vent his desire and fill his emptiness, buying his body and dignity with money.

Zhou Ximeng knowingly sinks deeper, transforming from a docile caged bird into someone who learns to bare his claws.

He thinks he can finally thaw that frozen heart, only to watch Zhao Yan lose himself all over again at the sight of his newlywed beloved’s car accident, discarding Zhou like trash.

“Zhou Ximeng, look carefully! I’m not him!”

The substitute wakes up and walks away, cutting all ties.

But at Zhou Ximeng’s dazzling design show, Zhao Yan sees for the first time the young man he defiled and abandoned.

Just as he finally comes to his senses and awkwardly lowers himself to win Zhou back, family conspiracies, rival schemes, and scandals from the past come one after another...

This high-stakes wager made in love

stakes the substitute’s true feelings, a gambler’s madness, and the beloved’s unfathomable gaze.

Who will lose everything, and who will turn the tables at the last moment?
