Lying flat, being a lazy fish, taking a Zen-like approach to life, and hiding one’s talents among ordinary people: if these words had a spokesperson, it would be Yun Xian.
In her previous life, she was a top scientist who worked herself to death. After her soul transmigrates into Douluo Dalu, all she wants is to find a quiet corner in Spirit Hall’s library, brew a pot of tea, read a book, and quietly decipher the world’s underlying code.
Unfortunately, people keep trying to make her work overtime.
The Golden Generation asks for guidance? She tosses them a sheet of scrap paper to get them off her back. The Pope personally tries to recruit her? “Thanks for asking, but I’m lazy.” A war in the Divine Realm threatens to destroy the world? She impatiently opens her domain. “Quiet, all of you!”
She thinks she can slack off until the end of time, until one day a stunning silver-haired, violet-eyed woman comes to her door and demands to know why she has power yet stands by and watches.
Yun Xian sighs and sets down her teacup.
“Destroying the world sounds like a hassle.” She blinks and points at the sky and the earth. “Why don’t we make up a new set of rules instead?”
The writing is clear and the ideas flow smoothly, but why are there so few book reviews?
I talked about the previous thing for several chapters. It was too detailed and too advanced, and it was a bit procrastinating. The rest is pretty good.
Super pretty. I love to watch
It's not bad. I plan to listen to it as a cool article, and I can listen to it while I'm drawing. I actually like the heroine's character at the beginning (because I haven't seen the back yet), and she's 100% rational.
I think it's okay. It's a pity that I don't have a rating.
