Cause of the apocalypse: After the "Lyrid meteor shower" in 2073, the earth was covered by unknown alien dust (called "stardust particles"). Particles are not directly fatal, but they will accelerate biological mutation (wild growth of plants and alienation of animals), change the geological structure (alternating between soil desertification and swampification), and weakly affect the human spirit (amplification of mood swings), forming a "stardust erosion zone", and the gradual collapse of human civilization.
World state: In the third year of the apocalypse, the city has been devoured by wildly growing "stardust plants" (with fluorescent leaves and roots that can penetrate concrete). The suburbs are full of "alienated beasts" (such as wild dogs with bone spurs and translucent giant earthworms). The only survivors make a living in small groups or closed strongholds without high-tech weapons. Survival relies on primitive tools, natural knowledge and tacit cooperation.
