King of Tokusatsu: Creating a New Era of Tokusatsu from Scratch!

[No OOC + follows the official chronology + heroism (faithful to the Ultraman spirit) + adapted works + punishing malicious fan works (taking down fake Xis) + gets more exciting the further you read!]

Ling Chen transmigrated. The good news: he didn't become cannon fodder. The bad news: this world had no tokusatsu!

Nobody here knew about the Giant of Light. People thought “a guy in a rubber suit fighting monsters” was “awkward dancing in a rubber outfit.” He immediately activated the System: This cultural blank space is mine to fill!

From the start, he laid the groundwork with three capsules: “stamina + intelligence + toughness.” Ling Chen recruited a down-on-their-luck martial arts troupe to act in monster suits. At first, everyone felt like they were “steaming in a sealed can.” He brought in theater graduates and a disabled middle-aged cameraman, then stitched suits and built miniature sets in a tiny workshop. The first Ultraman went into production in a rush. The premiere's ratings flopped? He released a sob-story behind-the-scenes video: “Look! Our monster suits leak air!” The bizarre comedy made the show a surprise hit.

From then on, he became the “tokusatsu industry workaholic”: he dug into the themes behind “Nourmal” while filming Ultraseven, earning praise from the official media for “broadening the scope”; he personally played Daigo transforming into Tiga, and “To the brilliant ones” made viewers cry their eyes out; he made a cameo as Tsukasa Kadoya, taking intentionally blurry photos and earning the title “the black hole of tokusatsu photography.” He also opened the “Billion-Generation Three Diamonds” toy factory, and DX transformation devices flew off the shelves. Online fans wailed, “The Giant of Light has raided our wallets.”

Whenever malicious fan works appeared, he sent out “legal letters from the Light.” He built a tokusatsu theme park where everyone could “transform freely,” and over twenty years, he etched Ultraman, Kamen Riders, and Super Sentai into the world's DNA. When he retired at 45, Ling Chen watched the children racing around the park with transformation devices held high and smiled. After all, who could resist a man who “shoved the light of a parallel world into someone else's universe”?
