Ryukyu, a tributary state of the Qing Dynasty, had close relations with Haitan Island. There was also a love story between Ryukyu's consort and Lin Yueniang of Haitan Island. The two sides once fought against the Japanese pirates together, but the identity of the "consort" was intertwined, and the shipwreck struck. They held hands to guard the tombs and wrote "Haitan Stone Language", carving love and perseverance into the mountains and seas, making this deep love an immortal stone language.
