Daoist physician Lin Jiuxuan failed his tribulation and was reborn in the modern world, only to become a useless son-in-law despised by everyone.
His astonishing medical skills were mocked as feudal superstition, and even when he saved lives, people ridiculed him.
Then his Merit Golden Needles reached perfection. He could bring the dead back to life and restore flesh to bare bones, and the wealthy and powerful begged for an audience.
Those who once looked down on him trembled and grovelled. “Master Lin, we were wrong!”
He only smiled faintly. “Don't rush. You can pay for your treatment with merit.”
Just then, thunderclouds gathered in the sky once more, and his enemies from his past life came chasing after him on flying swords...
It's very beautifully written.
