Fated to Meet You

This is a laugh-out-loud romance between a "hardcore CEO" and a "wild PR specialist." Shengting Group faces the biggest public relations crisis in its history. After Lu Chengxiao replaces three top PR firms, he is unexpectedly drawn to a proposal from the little-known "Glimmer PR": no flowery language, just solutions that get to the heart of the problem and one pointed line: "CEO, your reputation is valuable, but the truth is worth more." Wen Ruan brings her "three-person team" and steels herself to barge into Lu Chengxiao's "sterile workplace," solving a string of crises in unconventional ways, from celebrity endorsement disasters and product quality doubts to malicious smears by competitors. Lu Chengxiao is used to controlling everything, but Wen Ruan's unorthodox methods and grit win him over. She dares to eat instant noodles in his outrageously expensive meeting room, dares to tell him to his face that he has "too much CEO baggage," and even dares to shield him when crisis strikes. In turn, as Wen Ruan spends time with Lu Chengxiao, she sees the responsibility and tenderness beneath his icy exterior. He quietly brings her hot coffee when she works late, boldly stands up for her when a major client gives her a hard time, and discreetly comes to her aid when her company is on the verge of going under. As the domineering CEO learns to be flexible and the small PR firm owner learns to rely on someone, they finally understand: the best kind of love means understanding how hard the other's work life is and protecting the other's original aspirations. Side by side in their respective fields, they become each other's strongest support.
