The Knife-Lender: You Borrowed a Knife and Won’t Return It? I’ll Deal with You!

Jiang Xuanyun, a major arms dealer of Blackstar, spent years dominating the underworld with his ruthless methods and sky-high prices, but an employer’s grudge led to a hitman being sent to kill him.

When he opened his eyes again, he had transmigrated into the body of a knife seller on Blue Star with the same name. The original owner had only ten days left to live, and Jiang Xuanyun had inherited the knife seller’s fate-bound identity!

To extend his life and survive, he takes the knife seller’s register and heads down the mountain to reclaim the knives.

His first target is none other than Yueyue, a popular crosstalk performer. Twenty years ago, Yueyue’s father borrowed the “Ghost-Slaying Blade” in exchange for his son’s smooth rise to stardom. Now the blade is ringing, danger is closing in, and disaster is at hand.

Yueyue throws down 50,000 yuan in cash and calls him a con artist. That very night, a string of calamities befalls him: a stage accident, an arrest for drunk driving, and a total blacklist across the internet.

Then the clueless Korean star Jin Song picks a fight. With a flick of Jiang Xuanyun’s fingers, the talisman paper sends one disaster after another upon Jin Song’s men, leaving him with just one warning: “Picking a fight with me? Think carefully about whether you can afford the price!”

As the names in the register turn, Jiang Xuanyun gently runs a hand along the blade.

These people borrowed knives to defy fate and change their lives. Now it’s time to pay back every last bit, with interest.
