The Grave Robbers' Chronicles: Reborn as a Qilin, I Gave Everyone a Happy Ending

[The Grave Robbers' Chronicles + no female lead + no romance + family bonds + friendship + adored by everyone + happy ending for all.]

[The plot will definitely change! Some scenes will be cut, and others will be altered!]

After pulling an all-nighter and dying suddenly, Lin Fan, a die-hard fan of The Grave Robbers' Chronicles, opened his eyes as a kitten-sized black-and-gold Qilin in a tomb-raiding world. A male one. His scales gleamed gold, and he had a mark between his brows. He looked incredibly cool. Too bad the effect lasted all of three seconds.

“System, absorb yin energy? Do I look like some professional tomb ventilation system to you?”

Determined not to become a cute pet that had nothing going for it but its looks, Lin Fan decided to cling to the strongest male lead. Starting at the Lu Palace, he switched on “clairvoyant script” mode, determined to turn The Grave Robbers' Chronicles into The Grave Robbers' Chronicles: Everyone's a Comedian.

But his attempts to protect and guide the crew are full of surprises:

He saves Pan Zi and gets a tough-guy, fatherly fist massage in return;

He cures Hei Xiazi’s eyes, only to become his chief accomplice in stealing Wu Xie’s beef jerky;

He accepts Xie Yuchen as his “handsome big brother,” but is always distracted by the jade pendant he waves around, chasing it like a cat after a laser pointer...

Even Zhang Qiling, the peerless beauty, goes from silently feeding him to wordlessly petting him until his fur stands on end, then using his gaze to chase away anyone trying to “steal the baby.”

Watching himself go from “mysterious spirit beast” to “team darling (and toy),” Lin Fan sprawls in Xiaoge’s arms and raises a hind paw in thought: Forget it. Free food and lodging, and someone to scoop my litter. I’m coming out ahead!

Then, at the Bronze Gate, the System’s prompt rings out: [Final mission: Please act cute for Zhang Qiling and convince him to give up guarding the gate.]

Lin Fan: “...!!”
