In 2187, Earth entered the "Interstellar Era." Humanity had colonized several star systems, but resources were running out, the climate was collapsing, and genetic mutations were rampant. Earth's old civilization fell apart, ushering in the "New Wasteland Era," an age of declining magic where technology and wasteland coexist.
Apocalyptic radiation caused some people to awaken the "Startrace Gene," a mysterious ancient bloodline. According to legend, those who bear a Startrace are "children of the stars."
Lin Qing was born into poverty and was a late bloomer.
But the awakening of his Startrace Gene brought many people into his life and forced him to make a series of choices.
Lu Yu: A tsundere puppy and rebel from an elite family
Identity: The legitimate grandson of the Lu family, a young Alpha raised to be the family's "perfect heir," but in truth he hates being constrained.
He smiles like a sunny boy, but his pheromones smell of "molten lava milk candy," sweet with a scorching edge, an intense contrast.
Background: He met Lin Qing during a livestream of the variety show "Apocalypse Survival Challenge." While evading pursuers, Lin Qing accidentally wandered into the filming area. On a whim, Lu Yu helped hide him, claiming he was a "new guest on the show."
Personality: Tsundere and sharp-tongued on the surface, but clingy and dependent underneath. He fell for Lin Qing at first sight and launched into relentless pursuit mode: "If you won't come to my place, I'll sleep outside your door."
"If you dare run, I'll livestream my chase after you to the ends of the earth."
"Lin Qing, the person I, Lu Yu, have set my eyes on isn't getting away."
