Xie Yan downloaded a mysterious game called Whispers from the Abyss.
On his first day logging in, a warning popped up: [Your soul has been marked. Refusing to log in will trigger a real-world manhunt.]
Forced into the first instance, “Blood-Red Wedding,” he discovered that every player was someone who had gone missing in the real world.
When the bride lifted her veil and revealed a face identical to the one in the photo on Xie Yan’s bedside table, the System chimed:
“Dear player, congratulations on uncovering a hidden quest: save your fiancée, who died three years ago.”
It's scary, the story is quite creative, but there are a lot of pitfalls.
