Princess, the Prince Knows He Was Wrong

Ye Sheng was a university graduate in the twenty-first century. On her first day at work, she was caught in a once-in-a-century torrential downpour on the subway and drowned. When she woke again, she was soaked through and lying on an antique canopy bed. A disheveled man in red with long hair stood beside it, holding a wooden bucket and glaring at her. What the heck was going on? As Ye Sheng sat there in a daze, a flood of memories that did not belong to her suddenly surfaced. She had transmigrated into the body of a girl with the same name. This Ye Sheng was the legitimate daughter of Minister Ye’s household in the capital of the Kang Dynasty. A birthmark had appeared on her face when she was born, so she had been raised by her wet nurse in the servants’ quarters. Aside from a few household stewards, no one knew she existed. Xie Yimo, the emperor’s sixth son, was born to the empress. A troublemaker from childhood, he relied on his parents’ favor to get away with being a good-for-nothing, brawling, and killing without mercy. His reputation was so awful that the young ladies of the capital gave him a wide berth, afraid they wouldn’t live to see the next sunrise if they married him. Yet he fell in love at first sight with Ye Lanxi, the capital’s most talented young lady. He begged the empress to ask the emperor to arrange their marriage. As their precious son, he got his wish: with a single imperial decree, the legitimate daughter of the Minister’s household became the sixth prince’s future consort. Ye Lanxi fainted, so the Old Madam of the Ye family thought of the family’s true legitimate daughter, Ye Sheng. Hey! You can’t treat me like this. You’ll regret it. The man replied, “I’ll never regret it!” So why does it hurt so much when it all comes back to bite him?
