Great Ming: From the Start, I'm in Death Row, and I'll Save Empress Ma

Modern public health student Chen Yuan transmigrates into the Ming dynasty as Li Shouren, a street urchin. After ten years of studying medicine, he answers a call for help and treats Empress Ma, only to be thrown into the death row prison from the start!

Before his prescription takes effect, he is a fraud on the verge of death. After it works, he is the only miracle doctor who can save the Empress and see that “there’s no poison in the medicine; this was the work of human hands.”

Deep within the palace, he uses himself as bait, navigating the murderous intentions lurking in the Imperial Medical Academy while dealing with the tyrannical Zhu Yuanzhang and the benevolent Zhu Biao. One case involving an imperial physician will unleash a bloody storm across the court and the country.

From orphaned refugee to benefactor of the Emperor and Empress, from itinerant healer to trusted aide in the Eastern Palace, he will bring a modern compassion to ancient times, assist a wise ruler, open the seas, and strengthen the nation. Amid the sweeping landscape of the Hongwu era, he will ultimately forge an enduring legend of healing a nation.
