In the early years of the Republic of China, six people with different backgrounds and different purposes gathered at Lanruo Temple, a forgotten ancient temple in the mountains in the south of the Yangtze River for different reasons. They thought this was just a short stay, but they didn't know they had stepped into a thousand-year curse cycle. The temple is full of ghosts and ghosts, and a powerful evil spirit called "Grandma" controls everything. As their companions died or "disappeared" in various bizarre ways, the survivors discovered that their arrival was not accidental, but a repeat of a tragedy a hundred years ago. They must uncover their respective causes and effects in an endless cycle of terror and find the source of the curse in order to gain a chance of survival. However, the deepest terror often comes from the human heart.
