"Except for Chuan Ji: The Hunting of Aliens during the Hongwu Period"
In the first year of Hongwu, Shen Yan, a history student, traveled through time to serve as Zhu Yuanzhang's personal soldier, but found that a rift in time and space allowed countless time-travelers to flow into the early Ming Dynasty. They bring modern knowledge to stir up the storm: some hide in the market to promote new technologies, or sneak into the court to advocate new policies. Some even collude with the powerful and want to use the four major Hongwu cases to subvert the imperial power.
In order to protect the foundation of the Ming Dynasty, Shen Yan followed Zhu Yuanzhang's secret order and went from being a royal guard to establishing a specialized agency "Zhuantang" to hunt down his kind with an iron fist. In the Kongyin case, he saw through the corruption network built by the time travellers using coded documents; in the Hu Weiyong case, he fought a life-and-death game with the "Political League" who tried to implement the cabinet system; in the Guo Huan case, he smashed the "Financial League" conspiracy to control the economy; in the Lanyu case, he faced the rebellion of the "Wumeng" who mastered the art of improving firearms.
The Traveler Alliance never gave in. They formed a team to set up ambushes, delivered secret messages, and even intervened in the battle for the reserve, and started a desperate battle across the north and south with Zhu Chuantang. When the beacon fire of the Battle of Jingnan was ignited, Shen Yan looked at the modern imprints that reappeared under the palace wall, and realized that this hunt across time and space was just an endless game in the torrent of history - was he protecting the prosperous Hongwu era, or another rewritten future?
