"Farewell Season"
The youth of Lin Wanxing and Jiang Che ended in the chirping of cicadas in the midsummer of their senior year of high school. The countdown card at the end of the corridor was torn to the last page, and the cherry blossom path they had walked side by side was covered with broken white. The unsent love letters in the desks and the sweaty jerseys on the basketball court became unspoken farewells.
On the night when the college entrance examination ended, the lights on the playground were dim and Jiang Che's fingertips turned white as he clutched the admission notice, but he did not dare to say that he was going to a city thousands of miles away. Lin Wanxing looked at his red eyes and swallowed the words of advice on his lips into "I wish you a bright future."
In the days that followed, the school uniforms were replaced by suits, and the bicycles were transformed into high-speed trains. But every time the summer wind passed over the treetops, they would always think of that season of farewell - it turns out that some youth are destined to leave the deepest mark with regrets.
