After finishing his college entrance exams, Yang Rui had planned to enjoy a vacation at a luxury hotel, but instead he fell into a bizarre survival game. When he awoke from a dream, the owl fragment clutched in his hand had become his ticket into the “Hotel of Ten Thousand Images.” This mysterious building, open since 1847, hides endless treasures and deadly traps.
Together with five other strangers caught up in the game, they must fight to survive corridors filled with man-eating gorillas and cursed rooms that devour their sanity. Each person is given a unique blessing: Wu Gang, a former fighter, becomes a god of “Courage”; Li Wanying, the daughter of a wealthy family, can summon a mysterious shop; and Yang Rui’s “Wisdom” lets him glimpse truths beyond the perception of ordinary people.
From the mental corruption caused by bizarre families, to the demonic summoning in a terrifying old mansion, to the harvesting of consciousness on an alien ranch, every guest room is a dangerous gamble. When companions turn on one another in hallucinations and the hotel’s rules keep changing, they discover that the most terrifying thing is not the monsters, but the abyss of human nature brought to the surface.
