Herbal World: The All-Purpose Uncle

Lin Hao, a "jack-of-all-trades uncle" who was once a top biologist and medical consultant to special forces, comes to remote Baihua Village under the assumed name "Lao Mu," driven by a secret motive. Ten years ago, his close friend died mysteriously in the village. It seemed like an accident, but many questions remain. On the surface, Lin Hao is an herb gatherer; in truth, he is there to investigate what happened. With his unparalleled knowledge of medicinal herbs, he not only treats the sick and saves lives, but repeatedly foils sinister plots targeting the villagers and their herbal industry. As he pits his wits against villains lurking in the shadows, he gradually uncovers a shocking conspiracy surrounding Baihua Village's treasure, which may be a unique supply of medicinal herbs or an ancient prescription. In the end, he guides the villagers toward a sustainable future by building on their expertise in medicinal herbs.
