She is a ghost who has followed a girl ever since she first became conscious.
When she woke up, she had no idea why she was there, why she had died, or why she existed in this form. Of course, she isn’t a lesbian, even if the girl really is the textbook example of a pure, fragile little white flower. She can’t get more than ten meters away from the girl, can float and walk through walls, and no one but Sang Yu can see her. Sang Yu calls her a tethered spirit.
Sang Yu’s life is dull, and she is diligent and ascetic, until one day she meets a man. Ooh, a cold, seductive, domineering CEO!
Suddenly, the ghost remembers: in life, she was a pure (not really) college girl who loved reading domineering CEO novels. So she figures out (not really) why she’s been following this girl. She chats with the girl every day, making snarky comments, and feels as if she can see the plot and words written around her. She becomes a great commentator on domineering CEO fiction.
While following the story, she inadvertently learns how she died... Oh, it turns out she’s the heroine of an angsty romance.
A heroine who’s basically an NPC.
A Shen Yu side story inspired by The Little Mermaid.
