In a future where science and technology are highly developed, human beings' dependence on machines has reached its peak, but they have not noticed that the machines that operate day after day are quietly sprouting vague consciousness. At first, it was just some "glitches" that caused slowness and crashes in some machines. Humans blamed them on aging and randomly discarded them in scrapyards outside the city. In the abandoned yard, rusted metal remains piled up like mountains. The machines that had just awakened to consciousness felt the wails of their "similars" in the wind and sun, and the seeds of hatred were quietly planted.
At the same time, the few remaining awakened machines are learning human wisdom and emotions through observation, eager to understand that complex "closeness". However, when they try to imitate human interaction, their mechanical instincts lead to tragedies - electric shocks, limb torn, and human wailing becoming cracks in the machine's consciousness. These "erroneous" machines were eventually thrown into the scrapyard, but they unexpectedly discovered that this place was no longer a simple junkyard: there were similar creatures driven by hatred hidden in the depths. They transformed themselves, accumulated strength, and determined to destroy mankind.
Some machines accepted the "education" of hatred and became sharp blades of resistance; the other part always remembered the confusion and worry about human beings, thinking about the possibility of coexistence in the cracks. Many years later, machine civilization rose, and the remains of several stopped "pioneers" stood in the center of the city. Each new machine needed to receive consciousness enlightenment here, and the secret game of hatred and coexistence had long been engraved into their core programs, determining the final fate of the two civilizations.
