I came across the article on cultivating immortals and was attracted by the cover and introduction. I read it in one breath. The life of the protagonist Chen Xuanqing, a strong cultivator of immortality, is a long and far-reaching journey to immortality. The author describes the art of Qi in great detail. The article is tight, tense, and humorous. If you like to read the fantasy of immortality, I highly recommend it!
The ultimate satisfaction of growth: the clear upgrade line from refining to ascension is like a visual "game". Every breakthrough brings a strong sense of accomplishment, allowing readers to immersively experience the pleasure of "defying the will of heaven and changing their fate".
I didn't get the feel of a fantasy novel. There were no fighting scenes. It was all about assessing the situation. There were too many modern words and there was no sense of immersion.
