I'm a Theorist, but the Doers Have Made Me One of Them

I was stunned. An acquisition? The theoretical empire I’d worked so hard to build?

Anger and humiliation surged through me. “Mr. Qin, what are you trying to do? Buy my theories just to bury them and prove that practical action wins in the end?”

“You’ve got it wrong.” Qin Hu shook his head, his eyes burning as he stared at me. “I’m here to ask you to come out of retirement. My brothers can take hardship and fight tough battles, but we’re missing a brain to point us in the right direction. Join my company as a co-founder. Your theories and my practical experience, together!”

He held out a rough, calloused hand.

“Stop teaching people to swim from the shore. Get in the water and build a great ship with me. Then let’s go out and make something big happen!”
