Zhu Bajie in the City

After attaining godhood, the four master and disciples are bored out of their minds, so Bajie leads the way in sneaking down to the mortal world.

But their powers work only now and then, and when one of them tries to transform, he gets stuck halfway.

He only wanted to become a food influencer, but during a livestream, his Nine-Toothed Rake suddenly flies off and hooks the entire snack street.

Tang Sanzang recites the Tight-Fillet Spell to clean up the mess, only to make every smart speaker in the city explode.

Worst of all, the Heavenly Court's disciplinary office suddenly sends them a notice:

“Your presence in the mortal world has been detected. Congratulations, you've triggered a hidden quest: collect one hundred thousand merits using modern methods…”

The master and disciples exchange glances. Wukong suddenly points into the distance: “Master, there's an app called Douyin over there. Looks like we can earn merits by scrolling!”
