Journey to the West: I Took on All Eighty-One Tribulations!

Chen Lan transmigrates into the world of Journey to the West and becomes the twin brother of Tang Sanzang. In his dreams, he can become any demon encountered along the pilgrimage. When he wakes, he inherits each demon's memories.

He can also choose to inherit one thing from each demon: their cultivation, a magical treasure, or a divine ability or technique.

The first person he possesses is his own twin brother, Tang Sanzang. With just one bowl of Tang Monk's blood, he gains immortality.

After possessing Sun Wukong, he obtains all of Sun Wukong's lifelong cultivation, reaching the Taiyi Golden Immortal realm. He also gains all of Sun Wukong's memories, along with the Great Righteous Celestial Immortal Art, the Seventy-Two Earthly Transformations, and the Somersault Cloud.

After possessing Zhu Bajie, he masters the Thirty-Six Heavenly Transformations.

After possessing the Azure Bull Demon, he uses the Diamond Bracelet to steal the magical treasures of every immortal in Heaven.

By the time Tang Sanzang and his disciples overcome eighty-one tribulations and finally reach Spirit Mountain in the West, Chen Lan has already attained sainthood.
