Ten-Person Expedition, Why Has the Entire Court Fallen for Me?

(The ten of them focus on working hard to build a life together at first. The romance only develops after they’ve settled down.) (Ten of Us Working the Land)

In a single moment, ten young people from the modern world transmigrate to another era. They have no noble titles like princes or generals, only a set of labor skills that are out of place for their time and a copy of The Barefoot Doctor’s Manual they only half understand.

They land on the border of the Great Xia Dynasty, where famine is spreading and harsh rule prevails, and become people without proper household registration or any known origins.

Survival is their only concern.

The eldest, Jiang Dunhao, shoulders the task of keeping order. The strategist, Zhao Yibo, uses his knowledge to plan for the future. The practical one, Li Gengyun, tills the soil and cultivates hope with his hoe.

They treat injuries, enrich the fields, and build irrigation systems, scraping together food from between the stones. Against all odds, they establish a miraculous home on this desperate land, a place called “Ten Sunny Days.”

But when their high-yield miracle crops catch the county magistrate’s attention, and their out-of-era knowledge shakes the imperial court, their peaceful days come to an abrupt end.

“The entire court is in love with us?” What they love is the ten’s ability to turn stone into gold, and the potential they have to shake the very foundations of the state.

Faced with offers, schemes, and the threat of armed force, the ten grip their hoes and abacuses once more.

Our home has its own rules.

We won’t rely on favors or attach ourselves to the powerful. The land we cultivate with our own hands has a dignity that must not be violated.

This is a passionate story about ten ordinary people who use knowledge, sweat, and brotherhood to take on an entire era in another world, and ultimately establish new rules for it.
