The Tokyo Metropolitan Police Department: A Path to Promotion

Lin Zhen, an undercover police officer who infiltrated a fraud ring, was brutally killed by the gang. Reborn, he becomes Lin Zhenyi, a brilliant career-track bureaucrat in the Tokyo Metropolitan Police Department with a boundless future ahead of him.

As a rising star within the organization, he is seen as a future senior official from the moment he joins.

Armed with the extraordinary instincts he developed by spending day and night alongside criminals in his previous life, Lin Zhenyi is a towering presence in the eyes of the underworld. Can he climb step by step to the highest ranks of Japan's police force?

This is not a power fantasy. There is no System and no golden finger. It is simply the personal passion project of a Japanese mystery enthusiast. I also hope to earn a little pocket money to help support my family, and I hope you'll enjoy the story. For the record, I have never been to Japan.
