Ten years ago, just before the Lunar New Year, Route 32 mysteriously vanished. All 49 people aboard, including the driver, perished. The bus had driven onto Songxian Bridge before disappearing, and it was never seen again. Investigators found no damage to the bridge railings, and no sunken bus anywhere within five kilometers upstream or downstream.
Ten years later, as the Lunar New Year approached once more, Route 32 reappeared just as mysteriously. The bus looked brand-new; its lights worked, and so did its horn. But its doors and windows could never be opened, and no DNA samples could be taken from the victims' remains inside...
The Route 32 bus had returned to service. Every night at midnight, it departed from its terminus and drove onto Songxian Bridge, only to vanish mysteriously again. It would reappear the next day, and the cycle continued...
Though it appeared every night, only a handful of people could see it, let alone board it. Mo Nan, Xue Ling, and Shi Wang were among them.
Troubled by the bus yet unable to resist, they launched an in-depth investigation. In the process, a middle school student named Chen Ping gradually came to light.
