Slay the Gods: Where the Hell Am I?

I'm no good at writing introductions, so let's get to the story.

Xinglan is a professional spy and assassin. One moment he was sitting on the sofa; the next, he'd transmigrated into the world of the novel Slay the Gods. Since there's no way back for now, he might as well put the skills he learned in his previous life to use and return to his old line of work, cutting a bloody swath through this world. He thought that after living one whole life and starting over, he'd be invincible. But when Lin Qiye awakened Michael's divine spirit, Xinglan awakened the divine spirit of a mysterious Great Xia god, too, and became that god's proxy. Then, just as Lin Qiye acknowledged that he was the dual proxy of Nyx and Michael, Xinglan awakened the divine spirit of Eros as well. Wait, does a cheat ability have a competitive streak, too? Enough, enough! Isn't Lin Qiye supposed to be the child of destiny? Let the protagonist have the spotlight to himself! He's already a proxy for multiple gods, just like the protagonist, and he's got so many divine spirits he can't even keep count! Every time Xinglan uses a divine spirit, the gods behind him fight over the right to let him use theirs. Can he still return to his old world and go back to being an ordinary spy and assassin with a clear conscience?
