When a string of code that shouldn't exist invades the server, programmer Chen Mo's entire world begins to collapse—literally.
The laws of physics fail, the fabric of reality collapses, and he is bound by an unknown being as a "reality anchor." Only he can see the rushing code at the bottom of all things, and only he can barely repair the collapsing space around him.
But to repair is to consume oneself.
As he struggled to survive, he realized that this was just the beginning. In 71 hours, the first wave of "corrections" will arrive, which will erase all unstable "errors" - including human civilization.
And he, this powerless programmer, became the only patch in the entire reality.
If the code he writes can rewrite reality, is he the savior? Or is it just a... Variable that is about to be overwritten in the eyes of a higher-level being?
