Shengye was once a low-level psychic equipment repairman of the Xuanhuang Group. His three spiritual root tests were all "waste grade" and he was fired for refusing to meet the 997 training KPI. When he was desperate, he activated a faulty chip in the garbage dump - "Bad Dao Core": he refused to practice the task to increase his cultivation level, slept in to automatically repair his spiritual veins, and even swallowed the monitoring data stream to recharge when fishing.
When the monks at the same time were involved in a meridian burst, Shengye relied on repairing old prosthetics to break through the foundation; Xuanhuang Hunter came after him, and the scrapped prosthetics he threw out turned into quantum shields and rebounded the attack. Dao Xin also unlocked ancient permissions: he could tamper with spiritual network data, change the group's "Tribulation Overcoming Program" into a screensaver, and turn artificial spiritual root codes into viruses.
The group executives were furious and launched the "Great Purge Protocol", dragging thousands of monks into the virtual tribulation space (actually a consciousness incinerator). As Shengye was lying on the rooftop basking in the sun, Dao Core suddenly absorbed the resentment of the people in the city and turned it into a "reverse field" - the prosthetics of all the pursuers went on strike collectively, the alchemy furnace spewed emoticons, and the quantum talismans rebounded automatically. In the end, he discovered that the Tiandao engine of the Xuanhuang Group was actually the backup power supply for the lost Dao Core.
