Merit System: The Mad Crown Prince Insists on Marrying Me

This is a story about a heroine who behaves terribly and stays a villain to the end. Ahahaha. It was originally supposed to make the second male lead the winner, but then...

Su Wan died in a ridiculous way. After a lifetime of being a brazen villainess, she finally did something good, only to take a hit meant for an ungrateful wretch. When she opens her eyes again, she's become a notorious aunt with the same name in a poor mountain village. Her family is so broke that they're all hoping to marry her off for food.

With survival itself in doubt, the “Boundless Merit System” forcibly binds itself to her. Want to live? Want a pocket dimension? Earn merit points to trade for them!

Su Wan: ...Do I look like someone who does good deeds?

And so, everything takes a sudden turn...

To the outside world, she's a living bodhisattva who saves the suffering, heals the sick, and performs boundless good deeds.

In private, she grumbles furiously: “System, take out that white lotus trying to steal my credit. Name your price in merit points!”

With the System's help, she cultivates spiritual fields, opens shops, and offers brilliant advice, raking in merit points by the cartload. Along the way, she picks up a handsome, frail prince as her protector.

She thinks she can lie flat and live as a wealthy idler, but the prince is fighting for the throne and turns around to marry a secondary wife to secure his position.

The court officials are waiting to laugh at her, but Su Wan tears up the marriage contract in front of everyone and sets the prince's residence ablaze. “If I don't want this trash, anyone who likes it can have it!”

As she turns to roam the world, the deranged crown prince of a neighboring kingdom, a man with power enough to rule his realm and no qualms about killing, blocks her way.

He slaughters everyone who ever bullied her, then offers her a bloodstained sword. His eyes burn with obsessive madness. “Nangong Jin was blind to your worth. The position of crown princess of Feng Mingyuan's realm will forever be reserved for you alone.”

“Marry me, and the whole world can serve as stepping-stones for your merit.”
