The Buddha's Disciple Enlightens Her: The Fox Wants a Divorce to Prove the Way

When I wake up, I’ve become the weakest fox in the cultivation world.

Every day, powerful demons chase me around, and I nearly end up as someone’s dinner.

Just when I’m losing hope, that lofty Buddhist scion reaches out to me:

“Little fox, I’ll help you take human form.”

He carves out half his Buddha heart to shape my body and tempers me with golden dew from the dawn.

The day I become a fox maiden, I see a deep affection in his eyes that I can’t understand.

Only at our wedding do I discover the truth:

He raised me, spoiled me, and married me only because my spirit tail can save the life of the woman he loves.
