Wu Yun gains fragments of memories from the future. His past-life wisdom awakens from the start, allowing him to perfect the Evil Containment Wave and save his master!
As a prophet, he founds the Heart-Origin School and lays plans for three hundred years, vowing to build a perfect world where no one has to die.
He guides Goku and keeps Vegeta in check. His name is the Red Ribbon Army’s nightmare, and his ideals become Dr. Gero’s obsession.
But the inner demon of salvation and the universe’s power of correction cling to him like a shadow.
Every person he saves brings a new disaster in their wake. Every crisis he snuffs out early brings an even more terrifying enemy into the world sooner.
Vegeta stares at him, unable to understand. “I’ve never seen anyone fight like you.”
Wu Yun calmly sheathes his sword. “Because this is a path that belongs only to humanity.”
When his obsession with perfection finally breaks, he understands at last: his mission isn’t to be a hero who saves the world, but to become the spark that carries the legacy forward.
