I Give You the World

This Dazai is ultimately not the Dazai observed by the protagonist, so Dazai’s pairing isn’t with the protagonist. The pairing is Ranpo and Dazai. If that bothers you, please don’t force yourself to read (›´ω`‹). We’re just reading a novel to pass the time, not to make ourselves feel worse. So if you don’t like it, please don’t force yourself. Also, if you do read it, even if you want to curse me out, please don’t curse out the characters in my book, especially Dazai. He’s my favorite character, so please, please, please 🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏

The main story is told in third person.

Having crossed the barriers between worlds and gained the power of a god, what should Hoshino Saku do when faced with his thirteen-year-old beloved?

The answer is to hide his love and play the role of his “old dad.”

And so Yokohama stays peaceful, because my kid is asleep.

I bring Oda Sakunosuke into his life as a close friend, drag Chuuya in to be his partner, and raise Akutagawa and Atsushi to be healthy and chubby.

I build a bright, warm utopia with my own hands, completely pulling him away from his dark fate.

I thought I was saving him, until he stood before me holding Edogawa Ranpo’s hand.

Only then did I suddenly realize: I had healed half his life, but no one could heal my grand, agonizing heartbreak.
