Grime on the Mirror

Just after graduating, Su Yao rents an old apartment, where the redwood antique mirror in her bedroom becomes the start of a nightmare. Shadows gather along its frame, strange sounds echo from it, and her reflection moves on its own. The uncanny seeps into her everyday life and begins to consume it. When she tries to throw the mirror away, withered hands reach out from within, revealing the ghost of an old woman trapped there for a hundred years. The spirit wants to use Su Yao as a substitute so it can escape. From the apartment to her school and the corners of the city and countryside, Su Yao flees between reality and the terror inside the mirror. The clues to breaking the curse lie hidden in the details of daily life, while the resentment beneath the grime on the mirror drags her toward an even deeper abyss.
