After the decisive battle at Mount Longhu, Master of the Qiankun Cave and the Great Peng Bird escaped punishment. Tearing through space and time, they fled with each other to the Investiture of the Gods world, where only the Shang dynasty exists. There, they resurrected their old followers and countless lesser demons, and joined forces with Ghost-Faced Guanyin and the three demons serving Daji, including Shen Gongbao. Their demonic power surged, and they swore to destroy Xiqi once and for all and rule the Three Realms.
The Three Realms teetered on the brink of disaster. The Buddha appeared at Lingyin Temple and revealed the truth. Acting on his orders, Ji Gong, the Arhat who Tames Dragons, led the entire Lingyin Temple team, including Yanzhi, Zhao Bin, Bai Xue, Chen Liang, Bai Ling, Guang Liang, Bi Qing, the Seven Great Arhats, and all of Ao Zilong's companions, through time and space to help Jiang Ziya complete the great mission of conferring the gods.
The Buddha bestowed countless treasures and spells upon them: the Dragon-Taming Arhat's kasaya, the Nine Heavens Jade Lotus, the Demon-Subduing Vajra Hammer... And so began a grand showcase of divine weapons.
Yet this was not merely a clash between good and evil. It was also a marriage ordained by heaven.
But there was an even greater conspiracy coming their way.
