“Your Excellency, this cosmos needs a new master! With you looming above us, none of us can ever feel at ease!”
At the center of the cosmos, a burly middle-aged man spoke in a grave voice.
He wore a black, wide-sleeved robe, embroidered with subtle silver patterns. Its sleeves fluttered like an ink-black dragon spreading its wings.
Behind him stood countless ancient beings, the mightiest in all the cosmos. Their ranks of powerful figures blotted out the sky, and even their every breath sent tremors through space.
There were demons wreathed in demonic energy, savage and bloodthirsty Asuras, bone-corroding ghosts of the netherworld, unruly barbarians and demons, gods whose holy light suppressed all opposition, and even the humans he himself had raised up!
“You are all far too greedy.”
Facing the many supreme powers of the cosmos, the purple-robed man remained calm. His shadowed eyes flickered as he gave a slight shake of his head.
“Attack!” The burly middle-aged man closed his eyes, swept out his sleeve, and issued the order without hesitation.
In an instant, the cosmos shook and space seemed ready to shatter. A mass of energy woven from countless laws of chaos came hurtling toward him.
The purple-robed man slowly raised his right index finger and gently pinched the air ahead. A glimmer of light flashed, the energy mass turned to ash, and the souls of billions of supreme powers were annihilated.
The deaths of those billions of supreme powers caused the cosmos to shatter.
The purple-robed man immediately invoked his own origin power to repair the cosmos. Having exhausted his energy, he fell into the abyss.
