The protagonist, Sheng Zhen, is the hybrid son of human woman Inoue Michiru and Buche Stomach, a Sugar Person from another world. But Sheng Zhen and his mother are deeply unwelcome at home. Sheng Zhen has three half-brothers and two half-sisters, who cannot understand why their father had a child with a human. Unable to defy their father, they take out their anger on Sheng Zhen and his mother instead.
After Buche dies, the eldest brother, Lango Stomach, leads the others in trying to eliminate mother and son. Sheng Zhen narrowly escapes thanks to inheriting the traits of a Sugar Person, but his mother is not so lucky. The others turn her into a compressed human. Stomach Inc. appears to be a snack company, but few know that it secretly produces something called Dark Snacks...
Sheng Zhen runs for his life and eventually makes it to the human world where his mother lived. There, he tries the snacks she was always talking about. But many Sugar People are lurking in the human world, and they want to abduct humans and trade them to Stomach Inc. for Dark Snacks.
To protect humanity, Sheng Zhen uses his familiar, “Paozang,” to transform into Kamen Rider Gavv and begins fighting the Sugar People and Stomach Inc.
But the story is only just beginning...
