Four years into their marriage, Xiao Yuanyu said he had no interest in women and wanted them to live separately.
Xue Furu willingly endured four years as a wife in name only, swallowed her grievances while caring for her parents-in-law, even used her dowry to help support the household, and worked tirelessly every day to preserve the marquis’s household’s dignity.
It was only when Xiao Yuanyu went to Jiangnan and returned with the fake heiress, whose belly was just beginning to show, that Xue Furu found out.
It turned out Xiao Yuanyu wasn’t impotent. He just couldn’t perform with her.
“You secretly schemed to make me marry you back then. Now all I ask is that you surrender your place as my principal wife and be demoted to a concubine. That’s already merciful of me.”
“You’ve borne no children in four years. Do you expect the Xiao family to die out?”
“Xuru is pregnant, so she naturally deserves better care. If you neglect her even a little, you can go kneel in the ancestral hall.”
…
Xue Furu’s heart died, too. She turned and knelt before the old madam.
“Madam, I’m willing to give up my place as principal wife and marry the memorial tablet of Ninth Uncle.”
What did she care about being the marquis’s eldest daughter-in-law? She wanted none of it anymore.
Her beloved was dead, and Xue Furu decided to stop trying.
Her lecherous father-in-law wanted to take a concubine? She wouldn’t dissuade him.
Her shrewish sister-in-law needed a match? She wouldn’t find one.
Her spiteful mother-in-law wanted money? She wouldn’t bother with it.
The marquis’s household descended into chaos, and the fake heiress, now its eldest daughter-in-law, was so busy she miscarried.
Meanwhile, Xue Furu’s dowry business was flourishing.
But when her scumbag ex-husband learned she had only ever been a substitute, he regretted everything and knelt to beg her to reconcile.
The man who had always worn a secret identity and stayed hidden could hold back no longer. “Xiao Yuanyu, how dare you disrespect your Ninth Aunt? Go kneel in the ancestral hall!”
The author's writing is good, but I don't know if he is planning to write a long article or if he wants to foreshadow too many things. The overall feeling is a bit lukewarm. If you are not very comfortable with slow-paced articles, you should be careful when entering. There are almost 20 chapters in this part about Taoist practices. Is the author afraid that readers will not understand, so he broke it into pieces, kneaded it, and explained it in such detail? Moreover, there is so much content, but the main business is not explained much, but there are so many psychological activities of the male lead interspersed. He is so confident and so disgusting. Dear author, do you have anything on your mind that you can't tell?? These ten chapters are like serving a plate of stinky rags with exquisite knife skills. It doesn't look good or taste good.
The author writes very well!!! At present, it is tied. There are more than 100 chapters, no nonsense, all details. It's so cool to repay your grudges! The heroine is brave and resourceful, and attaches great importance to love and justice, which is good 👍👍👍 So far the male lead is just a sideshow, and he doesn't have as many roles as her ex-husband, hahahahahahaha, I'm optimistic about the male lead, he is really useful at critical moments 👍👍👍
The content is fluent, and the author has a very good cultural background. I really like the wording and sentence construction in it 😳. Fufu and Master Ning are also happy after all the hardships. What can I say, I feel a little anxious at the end, and it doesn't fit in with the various deep layouts in the front. I can see who the bad guy is right away [laughing], and there are several lines. I hope there will be extra chapters. I look forward to the story line of Grandma Zhen, the story line of the Wang family's little sister, and Fufu's married life... 🍉 🍉 🍉
At present, two updates are still being serialized. The first time is more than 90 chapters, and the second time is 363 chapters. The completion is to be completed. Overall it's quite cool and logical. The authors of the tricks are very clear and can explain the logic. I look forward to subsequent updates. The heroine is very smart and transparent, strategizing and courageous. Every time she fights with the villain, she is very accurate and has back-ups. The author will also explain the heroine's strategy very clearly. Even a simple-minded single-celled creature like me can read it happily. The male protagonist currently has a weak sense of presence. He is more of a pendant. He has been wearing a mask and has not recognized the female protagonist, but the female protagonist has already noticed that something is wrong. Even if there is an early misunderstanding that the heroine changes her mind, she will not abuse her, and she will unconsciously care for and protect the heroine when she is in danger. The disadvantage is that Changning Yongning is always confused, but most of the time the author is called by his first name, so it does not affect reading After reading it, it is really over. I feel that the author has a very mature writing style. The male and female protagonists have their own charms, and the female protagonist is more important. The male protagonist's pendant is only unmasked at the end. It is a rare emperor. The supporting actors are all normal people.
It's quite good to watch. The heroine of Goldfinger is very smart, and the decent supporting characters are also very cooperative. The plot completely follows the heroine's plan and goes very smoothly. It should be quite attractive that there are conflict points at the beginning, but there are so many characters that it becomes a bit confusing. If you can't remember them, half of these characters will not be used later. The emotional scenes are very average. Although there is ambiguity from the middle stage, the male protagonist really loses his temper in the last few chapters. It can be said that it is not sweet. Moreover, because the male protagonist wears a vest all the time, he abides by etiquette with the female protagonist, but the scenes are not as many as the scumbag who demoted his wife as a concubine. There are quite a lot of psychological descriptions of how the scumbag regrets it, which is comparable to that of the male protagonist. But don't get hung up on the emotional drama. It's still very good to watch as a refreshing novel, a bit like watching the twists and turns of the big families in Dream of Red Mansions.
The author of this article wrote it very carefully, and although some of the plots are a little careless, it is still passable in the end. Seeing that there are no big flaws now, the monetary value is relatively normal, and there is nothing that easily costs tens of thousands of taels. The heroine's careful steps to retrieve things are also well written. I don't know why the score is not high and it is not popular. It is better than the metaphysics of time travel and rebirth, "I know xx things, I will destroy them first". Maybe it is not that satisfying, but predicting it in advance is just a kind of cheating. If you can go back in life, it will not be so valuable. Living again will not actually increase your IQ, so what's the point of following it? It would be more joyful to see the heroine changing her life with wisdom.
The heroine was so deeply in love, I cried a lot in the middle, and the ending was very neat and tidy. Although the eldest nephew was a bit disgusting, it was really funny when he said that his dream was broken at the end. In the whole novel, only the heroine is devoted to revenge. While the hero crawls back from hell to take revenge, he can only think about getting closer in the shadows, secretly jealous, jealous, resentful, worried, hurt, sad... And the heroine's eldest nephew, Prince Changning, is really the only person in the whole book who only thinks about love and love. He is the only one who doesn't cherish what he gets, and starts to dream when he doesn't get it. He thinks about how others are attracted to him every day, and how he will do whatever it takes to get him. From time to time, he thinks about how beautiful he is, and sometimes he feels happy and sometimes sad. Although this narcissistic male monster is disgusting, the funniest thing is that the female protagonist, the person he has been pursuing for a long time, thinks that the dream of being the number one scholar is broken the most. In fact, the male protagonist's "resurrection" is what makes him more desperate. This can be regarded as a complete love brain, love and love are actually the first place for him.
The author has a profound cultural background in ancient times. In addition to power struggles and delicate scheming, he also has food and clothing, human connections, and the four seasons, unfolding a vivid picture of life. There are also poems and imperial edicts, and the literary talent is elegant. It is really a rare masterpiece 👍 👍 👍 Don't be put off by the rating 🤦
It's nice to watch, even though the pace is a little too rocket-driven. The layout of the heroine was nineteen years ago, but there were no other new or more layouts during that period (such as taking advantage of the death of the eldest brother and the second brother). In short, the plot was ashes, but it was still a closed loop. It was the change in the Marquis' Mansion next door, ha, it was really refreshing. Overall, it was very smooth to finish reading. The author's advancement of the female protagonist and the male protagonist in many cases was great. There was no so-called part of risking one's own life and taking advantage of the scheme. They were all prepared to deal with it as best as they could. However, they also had a clear mind about the imperial power. It was just a gamble rather than the so-called "confidence". I feel that I respect my little Karami's brain.
Finally, I am no longer writing about rebirth. The content is no longer repeated. The writing style is also very good. It is beautiful and beautiful. I recommend it!
