Back in the city of Luoyang, he watched Journey to the West and marveled at the Monkey King’s supernatural powers. Yet even the Monkey King’s whole life had been arranged by Heaven, and in the end he still became a workhorse for the world. Meanwhile, Luoyang worried about how he was going to pay rent and wondered when he, too, would become a workhorse. A desire to break free from that fate sprang to life in his heart. Heaven had treated him unfairly, just as it had treated the Monkey King unfairly. Then he was transported to the world of Journey to the West and bound to the strongest Journey to the West System. His mission: help the Monkey King rise above all the gods and Buddhas of the heavens and rule the Journey to the West together. And so, one man and one monkey began their comeback...
