[Infinite-flow + NPC perspective + mild horror + ensemble cast + no CP + growth-oriented heroine]
After Li Wen is dragged into a survival horror game, she prepares for a life of being hunted by all kinds of ghosts and struggling to find clues and survive in various instances.
But although she is mentally prepared, her body isn't. The game and its veteran players give her no chance to get stronger. Just like that, they kill her.
Li Wen: I died right from the start, so I don't have to struggle to survive. Why does that make me feel strangely at ease?
Hmm? The real question is, why am I still conscious after dying?
Oh, the game needs NPCs.
From then on, Li Wen works as an NPC in various instances. She's the driver of Bus 444; in a mall filled with all kinds of urban legends, she's a cleaner; when players struggle to survive in a horror movie, she's a member of the audience...
But before long, her NPC job takes her into the factory where instances are made, and she breaks into the survival game's headquarters!
From then on, the instances are under her control, and she makes the rules!
The mysterious and uncanny world of the survival horror game unfolds!
(My soul needs recharging, lest I fall into the abyss of sin!)
(Ding! Check-in successful! I've entered another instance, to witness players battle for their lives once more.)
It feels like the protagonist has no sense of existence and is just a tool NPC. It mainly describes the players, and there is no communication between the protagonist and the players. It looks like a group portrait, but I can't find the key point, and there is no sense of immersion in the story.
I like this story, even though it is unfinished.
