After Surviving on the Highway, the Lotus in My Home Became a Spirit

The whole world is plunged into an endless highway survival game.

While others fight to the death over a loaf of bread, researcher Su Yan faces an even graver challenge: the lotus he raised has become a spirit.

When the apocalypse arrives, Su Yan uses his merit points to draw a top-tier RV, but his complete lack of practical life skills leaves him struggling at every turn.

He cannot start a fire or make a trade. Faced with a thug’s knife, all he can do is analyze the extent of the damage to the man’s muscle fibers without changing expression.

Everyone is certain that this cold-faced beauty won’t last three days.

Until they see

The handsome man, beautiful as a god, tearing monsters apart with his bare hands, then turning around to carefully tie Su Yan’s shoelaces;

The powerhouse who commands destructive abilities, burning mountains and rivers to ash, then turning back to gently wipe crumbs from the corner of Su Yan’s mouth.

“Who is he?” everyone asks, trembling.

Su Yan glances at the doting man beside him and calmly pushes up his glasses.

“My lotus.”

After a pause, he adds,

“The kind that can cook.”

The lotus’s world is small, so small it can hold only one person.

From the day Su Yan brought him home from the laboratory, he knew this person was worth protecting for all eternity.

When the apocalypse came, he was finally able to take human form.

Everything in the world could become his power, and the desires of all living things could nourish him.

But all he had ever wanted was for that person’s gaze to remain clear and bright forever.

“I will cleanse the world for you, and become a demon for you.”

“As long as you’re by my side, even the apocalypse is a paradise.”
