Lin Yuan, the last mighty cultivator in the cultivation world to face the tribulation, brings the Cosmic Dao Canon with him as his soul transmigrates into a modern city. With spiritual energy depleted, he creates a new path: cultivating through civilization. He restores national treasures to gather the nation’s fortune, and awakens the “source energy” of history!
He exposes a replica of the Nine Provinces Cauldron in a museum and builds his foundation with the resulting fortune; he seizes the Imperial Jade Seal in a battle against Western forces and advances to the Golden Core stage with the dragon’s aura; he lays the Nine-Bend Yellow River Formation to trap powerful cultivators from various nations, then uses the Great Wall’s dragon soul to slay the phantom of Yamata no Orochi!
He establishes academies to train cultivators, joins forces with scientists to industrialize spiritual energy, pilots starships into deep space, and leads the gods against interstellar reapers. In the end, he merges with the will of Huaxia, leads humanity through the barriers of the universe, and founds the “Great World of Shenzhou”:
“Five thousand years of civilization as our foundation, the fortune of countless people as our blade. In this cosmos, Huaxia shall stand at the summit!”
