A Record of a Mortal's Journey to Immortality: The Return of Yangu Xuan Gu

A Record of a Mortal's Journey to Immortality fanfic | Xuan Gu's face is such a waste when there's so little fanfic, so I have to write my own!

Xiao Cha is a ruthless, suspicious madman who keeps his feelings for A Zhuo hidden and restrained, with a subtle yandere streak. A Zhuo is the "Sword Flower" of Xuanyin Island, a wooden beauty who is expressionless and says little. Her values are just as far from normal, having been raised all wrong since childhood. She can't read people's hearts, but she's naturally blunt, repeatedly dodging his descent into darkness and taking their push-and-pull to the extreme! To be clear, I personally prefer romances between two equally powerful characters, so until A Zhuo becomes strong enough, their love will remain deeply dysfunctional. Also, since this is a fanfic about Cha Bao, he's the main male lead, so all the plotlines and the heroine's characterization serve the happy ending with Cha Bao.

Content warning: Healthy love is sweet, of course, but the twisted love of a yandere who's gone dark is even more delicious. So one of them catches feelings first and actively teases the other, while the other can't understand people's hearts, creating all that delicious tension.
