(The protagonist gets more and more unhinged, and the author does too. The author isn't just making things up: they really transmigrated. A subversion of the usual tropes, transmigration within transmigration, no System, logical, beloved mentor Tang San)
The three laws of cultivators:
1. A cultivator must not harm an ordinary person, or stand by and watch while an ordinary person is in danger.
2. A cultivator must obey every demand made by their sect, except when that order conflicts with the first law.
3. A cultivator must protect their own survival as much as possible, so long as doing so does not violate the first or second law.
After transmigrating, Lu Wei pondered for a moment, then added one more law:
4. The above is all nonsense. We cultivators do whatever we want! We go wherever we want!
Lu Wei wakes up to find he has transmigrated into the body of a fleet lieutenant colonel in a cyber-tech world, only to become a lab rat because of political machinations.
But no one told him that the environment created by the brain-computer experiment was real!
Not only can he travel freely between the two worlds, he can bring things from one to the other, too.
And so a scene like this unfolds:
Spiritual energy and electricity intertwine, while cannon fire and sword energy fly side by side.
Lu Wei can't tell which world is real, and he doesn't want to figure it out. He only knows that life is short, so you have to enjoy it while you can!
“You've all been lying to me, huh? Both worlds seem real, huh? Fine, then I'll treat them both as fake!”
Many years later, Immortal Lord Lu Wei looks at the fully armed imperial fleet before him.
“Uh-oh. It looks like both worlds are real.”
