[Brave, resilient, sensitive, and adrift medical student × tall, twisted, obsessive, dark, fractured masked killer]
On Valentine's Day, a still-beating heart was placed in a heart-shaped gift box. The ribbon decorating it was so red it was almost black.
In the brightly lit hospital, silence reigned. Liora (Luo Lai) hid in the crawlspace beneath a trapdoor in an examination room.
The occasional screams and strange crackling sounds made her heart pound.
The footsteps outside the examination room drew closer. She heard someone clawing at the door, but soon the scratching was drowned out by screams...
This was Liora's thirty-fifth week as an intern at the hospital. Soon, she would receive her medical internship certificate and return to school to graduate.
But people in town said the killer from years ago seemed to have returned.
The peaceful days were gone for good.
