The protagonist, Lin Fan, carries the inheritance of the lost "Netherworld Medical Code" and is accidentally awakened by an ancestral bronze mirror to awaken his clairvoyant eyes (which can see through human body lesions, energy flow, and the nature of objects, and evolves with the plot). On the surface, he is a down-and-out doctor in a community clinic, but in fact he has ruthless medical skills and acts unconventionally.
