"Yonglan Continent" is bounded by the "Hengyue Mountains", with the female kingdom of Zhaonan in the south and the male kingdom of Yanbei in the north.
Zhaonan occupies the valley plain and holds "mulberry silk and wormwood" (mulberry silk is used to weave cloud brocades for nobles and foreign countries, and lingwormwood can dispel cold and cure diseases, both of which are indispensable in the cold areas of Yanbei);
Yanbei controlled the mountains and grasslands, and had "fine iron and good horses" (fine iron casts sharp blades and strong soldiers, and good horses support border defense, while Zhaonan has no conditions for cultivation and smelting).
The two countries are bordered by the "Banhai Desert" to the west (which cuts off trade routes and blocks the army), and the "Cangming Sea" to the east (which shares the benefits of sea salt, but often causes friction due to the "division of salt fields"). Neither country can devour the other, and only relies on the "Mengchun Hengyue Alliance every three years" to maintain superficial peace.
