There is no such thing as fairness in this world. The Nine Heavens Pavilion hangs high above all, claiming to embody the Heavenly Dao and govern the balance of all things. Those who obey its laws live; those who defy them die. It suppresses prodigies and keeps all spirits in captivity. Any “variable” must be erased.
The Qingyun Sect was an insignificant little sect. Yet simply because its founding patriarch had glimpsed a fragment of heaven's secrets, it was doomed to destruction. That night, flames consumed the sect gates, and blood stained the steps.
Ye Guiyun, the eldest senior brother, rises from a mountain of corpses and a sea of blood, accidentally awakening a mysterious bloodline dormant within him and an ancient forbidden art: the Nine Deaths Nirvana Art. From that moment, a path to slay the heavens, paved with countless battles to the death, unfolds beneath his feet! From the sole survivor of a sect to the leader of an alliance defying heaven, from mortal iron to a sword that slays the heavens, Ye Guiyun's fists will smash this so-called mandate of heaven! With beautiful companions at his side and powerful enemies closing in, in this turbulent age, he believes in only his own fists and sword!
