In a chaotic age when the Heavenly Dao has fallen apart and the old gods have perished, demons run rampant and the mortal world lies in ruin!

Lu Chen, the last young master of the Tianyi Sect, unexpectedly activates the Decree of the Gods System just as his sect is destroyed.

He appoints the first guardian deity in a ruined temple, setting out on a path to defy fate and enshrine the gods!

He earns merit by slaying demons and vanquishing evil, establishes a new order by appointing all things as gods, and makes the mountains, rivers, and lands his divine realm. Heroes and righteous warriors rally to his side.

With every deity he appoints, his power surges, bolstered by divine authority and the power of worshippers’ prayers.

Together with Su Qingtan, a mysterious young paper effigy maker, he takes on ancient demon kings, a demonic imperial dynasty, and the remnants of the old divine court.
